Aizu Winter Festival

The Aizu Winter Festival is held on the first Saturday and Sunday in February every year in the snowy grounds of Tsurugajo Castle. Huge bonfires are lit and the sights and sounds of more than 100 large rockets fill the freezing evening sky.
