Held annually on the first Sunday in August, this bargain sale of locally made pottery, Hongo yaki is a must for pottery lovers. It starts at four in the morning and ends at noon. To get a complete view of Hongo yaki, a visit to the Aizu Hongo Tojiki Kaikan in the center of town is recommended.
